Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 7, 2025

This policy explains—in plain language—how Nave Strategies LLC ("Nave Strategies," "we," "our") handles personal information when you visit navestrategies.com or otherwise interact with us. It reflects U.S. law, the EU/UK GDPR, and the growing number of U.S. state privacy statutes. Because our site is built and hosted on Wix, we include notes on Wix’s role in data protection.

What type of information we collect.

When you engage with us online we collect three broad kinds of information:

Details you actively provide—for example your name, organization, job title, email address, telephone number, billing details, webinar questions, survey responses or any message you type into a form or chat box.

Data generated automatically by your device—such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, clicks and time spent. These data points come from cookies and similar technologies managed by Wix Site Analytics, Google Analytics 4 and advertising pixels (LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel).

Information supplied by others—for instance social‑media profile data (if you register for a webinar via LinkedIn), payment status from Stripe, or an event‑registration list from Eventbrite.

None of this information is sold; we treat it as confidential business information.

How we collect information.

We gather information in four main ways:

Direct interactions. You give us data when you complete a contact form, download a resource, sign up for a newsletter, register for a webinar or correspond with us by email or phone.

Automated technologies. Cookies and pixels set by Wix and our marketing partners log usage and preference data the moment you load a page—only after you click Accept All or selectively enable categories in the cookie banner.

Third‑party integrations. If you pay for something through Stripe or interact with an embedded social‑media post, those platforms send us limited information necessary to complete the transaction or analyze campaign performance.

Client relationships. If you are (or represent) one of our consulting clients you may share patron or donor data under a separate Service Agreement —that contract governs that information, not this website notice.

Why we collect your  information.

We collect only what we need to:

Operate the website and deliver requested resources (downloads, webinar log‑ins, client portals).

Respond to enquiries and provide services, including invoicing and project updates.

Improve our content and user experience through anonymous analytics and A/B testing.

Market relevant services—such as sending you event invitations or articles—where the law allows or with your consent.

Detect and prevent fraud or abuse and comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, law‑enforcement requests).

How we store, use, share and disclose your personal information.

Storage. Wix hosts our site on secure servers in AWS and Google Cloud data centres across the U.S. and EU. All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, backups are stored redundantly and access to the Wix dashboard is protected by multi‑factor authentication.

Use. We use the data strictly for the purposes listed in Section 3. Internal access is role‑based and limited to our two‑person team and, where necessary, professional advisors bound by confidentiality.

Sharing & disclosure. We may share data with trusted service providers who help us run the site (Wix), process payments (Stripe), send emails (Mailchimp), or host webinars (Zoom). Each provider is under a data‑processing agreement that mirrors the protections in this policy. We may also disclose information to legal authorities if required, or to a successor entity in the unlikely event of a merger or acquisition. We do not sell data.

Retention. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe plus two years. Analytics logs are retained for up to 26 months. Client records are stored for seven years to satisfy tax and contractual obligations. Form submissions and chat transcripts are deleted after 24 months unless we need them longer for ongoing support.

How we communicate with you.

We may contact you by email, phone, SMS or in‑platform messaging to:

  • Send resources you requested or confirm webinar registrations.

  • Deliver newsletters or event invitations (opt‑out anytime via the unsubscribe link).

  • Discuss or deliver contracted consultancy services.

  • Notify you about important policy changes or security issues.

We never use automated calls.

How you can withdraw your consent.

If our processing relies on consent (for example, marketing emails or non‑essential cookies) you can withdraw it at any time:

Emails: click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter or write to privacy@navestrategies.com.

Cookies: click Cookie Settings in the footer and toggle off the relevant categories, or clear cookies in your browser.

Personal‑data requests: email privacy@navestrategies.com or use the Privacy Request Form in the footer. We will verify your identity and act on your request—access, deletion, correction, portability or opt‑out—within 45 days, using Wix’s built‑in GDPR/CPRA tools.

Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing done before the withdrawal.

Privacy policy updates.

We review this notice periodically to reflect changes in law or our practices.

When we update it we will:

  1. Change the “Last updated” date at the top.

  2. Post the revised version on this page—it takes effect immediately.

  3. Display a brief banner on the site or send an email if the changes are significant (e.g., we introduce a new category of cookies).
